Among the various innovations in the 2025 Ather 450 series are a magic twist, multi-mode traction control, and a greater range.
For its well-liked 450 electric scooters for India, Ather has included performance and safety aspects. The entry-level 450S comes at Rs 1.30 lakh; the Pro Pack option runs Rs 1.44 lakh. Running on a 2.9kWh battery, the Ather 450X starts at Rs 1.47 lakh and rises to Rs 1.64 lakh with the Pro Pack. The 3.7kWh battery variant’s base price is Rs 1.57 lakh; its Pro Pack price is Rs 1.77 lakh. The top-of-the-line 450 Apex, which is available for Rs 2 lakh, comprises the Pro Pack. The 450 electric scooter line for 2025 comes with the new ‘Eight70’ warranty, which spans 8 years or 80,000 km of coverage and a guarantee of 70% battery health for the same duration. The Ather Duo coupled with the 450X 2.9kWh, (reducing the charging time from 0-80% to just 3 hours) and the Halo smart helmet supplied with the 450 Apex also constitute other significant modifications. Hyper Sand and Stealth Blue are two new colors for the 450 series currently.
For 2025, Ather has introduced multi-mode traction control to the 450X and the 450 Apex. Riders now have three riding modes: Road Mode for regular use, Rally Mode for off-road excursions with regulated slides, and Rain Mode for increased safety in wet or sloppiness.

Moreover featured in the updated 450X is Magic Twist, the brand-only active regenerative braking technology lacking in the 450 Apex or Rizta Z. This results in a 130-kilometer TrueRange of the Ather 450X 3.7kWh (IDC Range 161km) and a 450 Apex (IDC Range 157km). Moreover, with a range of up to 105 km are the Ather 450S (IDC Range 121 km) and 450X 2.9 kWh (IDC Range 126 km).Ather has fitted its 450 series with additional features, including WhatsApp alerts straight on the display and the “Ping My Scooter” option using the most recent AtherStack 6 software.
