
Hyundai has introduced a convenient update to the Alcazar, its popular 6/7-seater SUV. The company has now made available a wired-to-wireless adapter, allowing for seamless smartphone connectivity. This feature is offered on the Prestige, Platinum, and Signature variants.
The rest of the feature list remains unchanged, with the Alcazar boasting an impressive array of amenities. These include dual 10.25-inch displays, a wireless phone charger, front and rear ventilated seats, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, and a panoramic sunroof.
Safety features are also plentiful, with six airbags, hill hold assist, a 360-degree camera, front and rear sensors, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as forward collision warning, lane keep assist, and blind spot monitoring.
The Hyundai Alcazar is priced from Rs 14.99 lakh to Rs 21.70 lakh. Under the hood, it offers a choice of 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and diesel engines. The petrol unit produces 158 BHP and 253 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT. The 1.5-litre diesel unit puts out 114 BHP and 250 Nm, offered with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission.
