
The Triumph speed twin sophisticated motor comes with an engine type of liquid-cooled parallel twin, 8 valve, SOHC and 2700 firing order. It has a capacity of 1200cc. The torque output is 112 Nm at 4250 rpm. It is powered 105 hp. It gears up with a multipoint fuel injection system with electronic throttle control, and three rider modes.
The models present complex capabilities like a slip-and-assist clutch-controlled 6-speed gearbox. The instrumentation has also been upgraded with the twin digi-analogue dials making way for the integrated color TFT unit. It comes in 2 variants – the standard and the high spec. The front and rear suspensions are fitted 43mm USD Marzocchi forks and twin ohlins RSUs with external reservoirs respectively.
Brakes are handled a twin front and a single back with Brembo Stylema M4.30 radial calipers and Nissin 2-piston floating caliper respectively. The standard Speed Twin 1200 is available in three colour options -white, red, and silver, while the RS variant comes in two color options – black and orange. It is powered with 3 modes – road, rain and sport. It comes with an advanced optimised Cornering ABS and Traction Control.
The standard variant is priced at Rs 12.75 lakh and the higher-spec RS variant at Rs 15.50 lakh.
