Yamaha has unveiled the updated 2025 XSR 125 in Japan, bringing a fresh touch to its smallest XSR offering. While the mechanical specifications remain unchanged, the new model boasts two exciting new color options: Light Bluish Gray Metallic and Berry Dark Orange Metallic.
The 2025 XSR 125 retains its powerful 125cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which delivers 14.5bhp and 11.5Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a smooth-shifting six-speed gearbox, ensuring seamless acceleration.
The bike’s chassis features 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 110/70 front and 140/70 rear tubeless tires, providing stability and grip on the road. Single disc brakes at both ends ensure reliable stopping power.
Notably, the XSR 125 is not available in the Indian market. In Japan, prices for this entry-level bike start at 460,000 yen, approximately Rs 2.62 lakh.
The XSR 125 also benefits from Yamaha’s advanced technologies, including VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) and an assist and slipper clutch. These features work together to provide easy gear shifts and a smooth riding experience.
