Kawasaki has updated the new Vulcan S with E20 standards. The 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S is priced at Rs. 8.13 lakh ex-showroom, making it Rs 54,000 more expensive than the previous model.
New E20 Compliant Engine and Colour Scheme
The Vulcan S gets a 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin E20 compliant engine producing 60.1bhp and 61Nm. A new Metallic Flat Spark Black colour scheme has been introduced on the new Vulcan S. The new colour scheme is a subdued shade that stands in contrast to the flashier green colour available earlier.
Vulcan S suspension and braking
Suspension duties are handled by a 41mm telescopic fork at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear, while braking hardware includes a 300mm front disc and a 250mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS. Key dimensions such as the 705mm seat height and 130mm ground clearance remain the same, although the bike is now 6kg heavier, tipping the scales at 235kg.
With all new features and good pricing, the Vulcan S has no direct rivals in its segment, with the closest alternative being the significantly more affordable Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, which starts at Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
