Aprilia India has launched its new bike, the RS457, at Rs. 4,10,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new motorcycle is the cheapest motorcycle from Aprilia for the Indian market.
The RS457 is inspired from Aprilia’s middleweight offering, the RS660. The new bike gets split LED headlights, sharp bodywork with cuts and creases all over, and a proper super sport motorcycle design.
RS457 features:
The RS457 has a 457cc parallel-twin cylinder engine that makes 47.6bhp and 43.5Nm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox and gets a slipper clutch too. The list of electronics on the RS457 includes LED illumination, engine maps, traction control, ABS, an anti-roll system, three riding modes, and a five-inch TFT.
Aprilia has equipped the RS457 with preload-adjustable USD front forks and a monoshock. Its brakes include a 320mm front and a 220mm rear disc mounted on 17-inch wheels wrapped in TVS Protorq tyres.
