With over 200,000 electric commercial vehicles sold and new models like the Mahindra ZEO and a customer loyalty program to promote urban logistics and sustainability, Mahindra keeps leading India’s electric commercial vehicle market.

A subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML) has achieved a noteworthy milestone by surpassing 200,000 electric vehicles (EVs), reinforcing its leadership in the commercial EV sector in India.

Vahan data shows that the firm has been instrumental in pushing electrification in the L5 category, which experienced a growth in EV penetration from 7.6% in FY23 to 21.7% year-to-date in FY25. Supported by the release of products, including the Treo Plus, e-Alfa Plus, and Mahindra ZEO, Mahindra has sold around 100,000 EVs over the past 17 months.

Per SIAM data, MLMML has a 41.2% market share in the L5 electric vehicle category. The corporation’s small commercial electric vehicles consist of three-wheelers from Mahindra Treo, e-Alfa, and Zor Grand. Recently, MLMML also added the Mahindra ZEO, a small electric four-wheeler in the 2T range, to its portfolio.

Mahindra has also raised manufacturing capacity at its Bengaluru, Haridwar, and Zaheerabad factories in order to meet its rising client base.

Emphasizing the company’s dedication to sustainability and innovation, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Suman Mishra underlined that the milestone of 200,000 EVs reflects its continuous attempts to satisfy changing needs of urban logistics.
