Declared as India’s first clever crossover utility vehicle (CUV), the MG Windsor was delivered JSW MG Motor India to Chennai in 101 numbers. The automobiles arrived MG FPL Chennai.
With 3,116 units sold in October 2024, the MG Windsor had remarkable sales; these accounted for over 30% of all passenger electric car sales for that month. Setting a first for passenger EVs in India, it also set a record with 15,176 bookings within 24 hours of the booking announcement.

Constructed on a specific EV chassis, its 332km single charge range is certified. Under the Battery as a Service (BaaS) concept, the MG Windsor, which costs Rs 13,49,800 (ex-showroom), is available for Rs 9.99 lakhs with a battery rental cost of Rs 3.5 per kilometer.
The car boasts a number of first-in-segment elements. It has Aero Lounge seats that recline up to 135°, therefore improving comfort, and a 604-liter boot capacity for bags. The Windsor features four driving modes: Eco+, Eco, Normal, and Sport and employs an IP67-certified 38 kWh battery, therefore guaranteeing longevity and safety. To further comfort and openness, further elements include a 2700 mm wheelbase and an Infinity View Glass Roof.
With over 100 AI-enabled voice commands and support of several Indian languages, the MG Windsor uses smart connectivity via the MG-Jio Innovative Connectivity Platform (ICP). Voice instructions let one control key operations and entertainment. While interacting with the technologies of the car, the 15.6-inch Grandview Touch Display offers navigation and entertainment choices.
The MG Windsor comes in four color options: Starburst Black, Pearl White, Clay Beige, and Turquoise Green; it is available in three variations: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence.
