On the Altroz Racer, Tata Motors has unveiled interesting offers with discounts of up to Rs 65,000 for a limited period. The premium hatchback is more attractive because of the mix of cash reductions and exchange or scrappage bonuses.
Starting in June 2024, the Altroz Racer comes in three models: R1, R2, and R3; the top model has segment-first improvements, including blind spot monitoring, a 360-degree camera, and ventilated front seats. To further appeal, it boasts a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and a motorized sunroof.
The 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine of the Tata Altroz Racer generates 120hp together with a 6-speed manual transmission. Tata Motors is assessing the introduction of an automatic model with perhaps the dual-clutch system of Nexon. Plans also call for the Racer sub-brand to grow, maybe including the sporty Altroz EV. Like Hyundai’s N Line, the Racer range seeks to establish itself as Tata’s performance-oriented series.
