In the first half of 2025, the Hyundai Ioniq 9 will be introduced in Korea and then in the US. Its worldwide introduction will follow, adding a much-awaited addition to Hyundai’s portfolio.

Hyundai Ioniq 9: Charging and Battery
Two variations of a 110.3 kWh battery included in the Ioniq 9 are Long-Range and Performance. The performance variation comes just with AWD; the long-range model is available with RWD and AWD. Comprising a 215bhp powertrain, the RWD Long-Range variant achieves 0-100km/h in 9.4 seconds.
With a 94-bhp front motor added the AWD Long-Range model, sprint time is dropped to 6.7 seconds. Accelerating to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, the Performance AWD variant has 215 bhp motors on each axle.

The SUV supports 400V and 800V charging systems; a 350kW fast charger achieves 10%–80% charge in 24 minutes. Its adaptability stems from its vehicle-to-load (V2L) ability, which also runs external electrical devices.

Hyundai’s “Aerosthetic” approach combines futuristic style with sophisticated aerodynamics. The front fascia incorporates parametric pixels in LED lights to create a distinctive design. A sloping roofline and smooth contour achieve its low drag coefficient of 0.259 Cd.
Standard features include 19-inch wheels and complete LED lights; possible upgrades to 20- or 21-inch diameters. There are sixteen color possibilities available to buyers, including Celadon Gray Matte and Sunset Brown Pearl.

Hyundai Ioniq 9: Inside Attributes
The Ioniq 9 presents premium features along with six- and seven-seat configurations. By rotating 180 degrees when stationary, the second-row captain’s chairs provide flexibility. To further passenger convenience, the Universal Island 2.0 console offers changeable storage.
While headroom in the second and third rows reaches 1,899mm, legroom measures 2,050mm.
With the third row folded, the boot has 620 liters of storage, expandable to 1,323 liters. For AWD, front trunk space is 52 liters; for RWD variants, it is 88 liters. An optional 14-speaker Bose audio system, a panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting comprise further elements.

With a length of 5,060mm, a width of 1,980mm, and a height of 1,790mm, the SUV is 3,130mm wheelbase guarantees dependability and room. Ten airbags, seatbelts, pre-tensioners, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) comprise safety elements. Terrain Traction Control and dynamic torque vectoring improve handling across varied surfaces. With its luxury and modern technologies, the Hyundai Ioniq 9 establishes a standard in the e-SUV market.
