Official Bookings For Honda Activa E And Qc1 Electric Scooters Open

Officially starting in India are bookings for the new Honda Activa e and QC1 electric scooter. The Japanese maker said these electric scooters may be reserved at official dealerships in Bengaluru, Hoskote, Mumbai, Thane, Hyderabad, Delhi, Chandigarh, Pune, Baramati, and more. Those who want to reserve the Activa e or the QC1 must pay a minimum booking fee of Rs 1,000.

Recently, India was presented with the Honda Activa and QC1 electric scooters. The flagship electric scooter is the Activa E. It has a straightforward but striking look and loads features, including a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, arriving call notifications, and top variant navigation.

The Activa e runs two 1.5kWh swappable batteries. Honda says the scooter can run 102 km on one charge out of a 3kWh total capacity. Only at Honda’s battery swapping stations are these batteries charged; the firm claims to have ambitions to build a dense network over India is not too distant future.

The Activa e has a 6kW swingarm-mounted motor to propel the scooter from 0-60 kmh in 7.3 seconds. With three modes—Eco, Standard, and Sport—the scooter can reach an 80 kmph top speed.

Conversely, the Honda QC1 is a more frugal electric scooter with a 1.8kW BLDC motor that can reach 50 kmph top speed. Two ride modes—Econ and Standard—accomplish the QC1.

While deliveries start in February, Honda will shortly declare the Activa e and QC1 prices.
