Mahindra XEV 9e Top Variant priced at Rs 30.50 Lakh

Mahindra revealed the price for its top-spec XEV 9e Pack Three. Although the lowest model, Pack One, costs Rs 21.90 lakh, ex-showroom, the 79kWh Pack Three costs Rs 30.50 lakh. Mahindra has not yet disclosed the XEV 9e Pack Two price, which will finish the price list. Pack Three has bookings starting on February 14; deliveries are scheduled for early March. Mahindra also disclosed the BE 6 SUV price for the Pack Three variant—Rs 26.90 lakh. Though the XEV 9e is built on the INGLO platform, “XEV” is a completely different subbrand from “BE.”.

Mahindra Xev 9e Price Against Hyundai Ioniq 5, Byd Atto 3

The Mahindra XEV 9e is cheaper Rs 3.09 lakh and Rs 3.49 lakh than the BYD Atto 3 basic and top versions, priced at Rs 24.99 lakh and Rs 33.99 lakh, respectively. The price of the Atto 3 base model is introductory; it will rise finally. The XEV 9e Pack Two will be less expensive than the mid-spec Atto 3 Premium variant with a Rs 29.85 lakh price tag, although it is yet unknown how exactly.

At Rs 21.90 lakh, the base XEV 9e Pack One (5 lakh) is Rs 24.15 lakh lower than the Hyundai Ioniq 5 priced at Rs 46.05 lakh. Priced at Rs 30.50 lakh, the XEV 9e Pack Three (79 kWh) is Rs 15.55 lakh cheaper than the Hyundai Ioniq 5, which is sold solely in India with a 72.6 kWh battery pack.

Mahindra Xev 9e Battery, Range And Charging

Two battery choices for the XEV 9e—59 kWh and 79 kWh—both run rear-axle motors. The bigger unit requires up to 286 hp, while the 59 kWh one runs with a 231 hp motor. Still, the torque remains 380 Nm, the same. With the larger battery pack, the 0-100kph sprint runs in 6.8 seconds.

On a single charge, the MIDC range for models with the 79kWh battery is 656km, and for those with the 59kWh unit, it is 542km. As was already noted, the charging is done either 7.2kW or 11 kW. AC units, which must be bought separately. Twenty to eighty percent charge arrives in twenty minutes with a 175 kW DC fast charger.

Mahindra Xev 9e Has Colors

With each unit measuring 12.3 inches, the cabin has a three-screen arrangement. Part of Mahindra’s distinctive character in their electric stable, the flat-bottom steering on this one features an illuminated “Infinity” emblem. Features like a tyre pressure monitor, brake--wire and automatic parking brake also abound. There are plenty of storage spaces: a 150-litre frunk and a 665-litre boot.

Other amenities are wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, push-button start/stop, automated climate control with rear AC vents, height adjust for the driver’s seat and seat belt, tilt and telescopic steering adjust, Type-C charging outlets and 60:40 split-folding rear seats.

Eight colors make up the Mahindra XEV 9e: Tango Red, Everest White, Nebula Blue, Stealth Black, Gold Dawn, Ru Velvet, Deep Forest and Desert Myst.
