At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, EKA Mobility, a major player in electric vehicle innovation, created history introducing the most extensive line of electric commercial vehicles in India. This marks a turning point in the efforts to develop environmentally friendly and sustainable modes of transportation of India.
The new range consist of Electric buses, trucks, and small commercial vehicles (SCVs) are among the more than 11 platforms in EKA Mobility, which was created to satisfy the rising need for clean mobility solutions in the areas of urban mobility, logistics, and public transportation. Additionally, the business showcase EKA Connect, a fleet management technology that uses real-time data tp analyses the boost operational effectiveness which guarantee maximum uptime, and optimize vehicle performance.
A Wide Range of Electric Buses
Five electric bus models that are suited to a range of every passenger needs were introduced EKA:
- EKA COACH: India’s first long-distance luxury electric bus made of stainless steel that combines comfort, safety, and longevity.
- EKA 12M: An urban transit bus with a large capacity that has cutting-edge safety measures.
- EKA 9M: A mid-sized commuter bus with climate control and comfortable seats.
- EKA LF: An accessible low-floor city bus with an extremely effective electric drivetrain.
- EKA 7M: This little bus is perfect for feeder services, steep terrain, and constrained city streets.
Electric trucks
Additionally, EKA introduced two reliable versions of the electric truck market: - EKA 55T: Range- 200-kilometer, Capacity- 43,000 kg.
- EKA 7T: Range- 200 km and Capacity- 3,500 kg payload.
Enhancing Urban and Last-Mile Mobility
Six new models were also introduced in the SCV segment: - EKA 3.5T, 2.5T, and 1.5T: Electric freight vans that can be customized for urban and intercity operations.
- EKA 3W CARGO: A lightweight, emission-free three-wheeler designed for last-mile delivery.
- EKA 6S: An urban transport system based on shared mobility.
- EKA 3S: For city dwellers eco-friendly, reasonably priced three-wheeler.
This initiative of EKA can save ₹200 crore in fuel expenses and in terms of environment friendly it can cut CO₂ emissions 4.2 lakh tonnes, and benefit 1.7 million people every day. With its creative strategy, electric mobility that can bring India one step closer to a greener, cleaner transportation system.
