The new Honda NPF125 patented in India

NPF 125

The new Honda NPF125 Scooter shares several similarities with the Activa 125 but could be seen as an alternative for several of its automobiles. With enhanced features the company sets its eyes again on the market competition.

Already available in many Asian markets, Honda NPF125 Scooter’s design has been patented in Indian markets. Sharing its 24cc air-cooled, single-cylinder  engine with the Activa 125, it still delivers a slightly higher power output, i.e- 9.5hp.  The model incorporates a sharp, angular design with LED headlights.

A telescopic fork and monoshock, with disc/drum brakes and 12/10-inch (front/rear) wheels are some highlights of this vehicle. Other notable characteristics are-  ABS at the front, keyless ignition, an LCD display, dual front storage compartments, and a USB charger.

The sporty look of the scooter is completed with dual headlamps, vertical turn indicators, flat footboard and a storage cub on the front.

But is Honda ready to face the tough competition with its renewed features when others bring a brand new automobile with newly discovered technologies to the plate of the consumers? Or Honda plays the intricate game of nostalgia to gain the upper hand?
