Aprilia Tuono 457 Patented In India: Launch To Take Place Soon

The highly awaited launch of the Aprilia Tuono 457 is soon to take place on 17th or 18th February, 2025, as Piaggio India has filed a design patent for the same. Although the vehicle was globally unveiled at EICMA 2024.

With a price lower than its similar model (RS 457), the motorcycle competes against some staunch rivals- KTM 390 Duke and Yamaha MT- 03. The motorcycle is powered a 457 cc liquid-cooled parallel- twin engine that gives an output of- 46.9 bhp and 43.5 Nm of torque, accompanied a 6- speed gearbox.

Some of its features are also a chiseled fuel tank, angular extensions and a simple cowl. An all-LED lighting, traction control, multiple ride modes, ABS, and a color TFT dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity. 

The suspension setup consists of- adjustable USD front forks and a rear monoshock, with single-disc brakes at both ends and 17-inch alloy wheels. 

All the new additions make the company’s motive of creating a street-style motorcycle coherent. The vehicle would be available in two colours- Red and Black. It is also expected to be quite affordable if put in comparison with- Aprilia’s other lineup in India.
