
Volvo has launched the facelifted version of its flagship SUV, the XC90, in India, priced at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.03 crore. The updated XC90 boasts a refreshed design, inspired the all-electric Volvo EX90, and packed with cutting-edge features.
The exterior styling elements of the XC90 facelift are characterized slimmer ‘Thor’ hammer headlights, darker tail-lamps, and new 20-inch alloy wheels. The SUV is available in six colour options, including Onyx Black, Crystal White, Denim Blue, Vapor Grey, Bright Dusk, and a new Mulberry Red colour.
Inside, the XC90 features a Google-based 11.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports over-the-air (OTA) updates, ensuring that the system stays up-to-date with the latest software. The SUV also boasts a 19-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system, providing an immersive audio experience.
Other notable features of the XC90 include a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, a 360-degree camera system, front, side, and rear parking sensors, auto park assist, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The SUV also features memory seats and an air purifier with a PM 2.5 filter, ensuring a comfortable and healthy driving environment.
Under the hood, the XC90 facelift is powered a 2.0-litre mild-hybrid turbo-petrol engine, producing 250hp and 360Nm of maximum torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, allowing the SUV to accelerate from 0-100kph in just 7.7 seconds.
