BMW Motorrad has introduced the C 400 GT scooter in India, with a starting price of Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This premium scooter is designed for both regular commuting and long-distance touring, making it one of the most expensive scooters in its class.
The 2025 BMW C 400 GT retains its maxi-scooter persona, boasting a sleek and sporty design. The scooter features a distinctive V-shaped LED headlight with LED DRL, adjustable windscreen, and a robust build quality. Complying with the stringent Euro 5+ norms, the C 400 GT is an environmentally friendly option for riders.
For enhanced comfort, the seat height has been reduced 10mm to 765mm, making it more accessible for riders of varying heights. The scooter is available in two variants: the base Blackstorm and the Exclusive. While the Blackstorm variant is available in Blackstorm Metallic and Diamond White Metallic paint schemes, the Exclusive variant gets golden rims, a black seat bench with an embroidered emblem, and golden brake calipers.
In terms of storage, the C 400 GT offers a spacious 4.5-litre right compartment and a generous 37.6-litre underseat compartment. The scooter also features a high-resolution 10.25-inch TFT display with Connectivity Pro, enabling seamless navigation, media, and smartphone integration. Additionally, a built-in charging unit is located in the left storage compartment, along with USB-C and 12V ports.
Powering the C 400 GT is a 350 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 34 hp of power at 7,500 rpm and 35 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a smooth-shifting CVT transmission, ensuring effortless riding in various conditions.
Safety features on the C 400 GT include ABS with lean-sensitive braking assistance, dynamic brake control, and traction control. The scooter also features Engine Drag Torque Control, which helps prevent the rear wheel from slipping or losing traction.
With its impressive features, premium design, and robust performance, the BMW C 400 GT is poised to redefine the two-wheeler segment in India.
