Getting behind the wheel of a Kia Seltos GT Line has been a dream-come-true situation for me. From the first glance, all I could think of was its bravado visuals and sporty stance. The GT Line, especially with a menacing front grille, red highlights, and dual exhaust tips, imparts a strong road presence that wows spectators on every outing.
Driving the Seltos GT Line is an experience on its own. The turbocharged 1.4L petrol engine engulfs you in power and torque and smooths out every driving experience to your pleasure. Be it the long highway stretch or other city mixes, the car handles itself extremely well. The steering is up to the task, too, with an easy-to-feel configuration, while the suspension system is spot on for Indian conditions and absorbs most jerks and jolts in comfort.
As far as the GT Line’s interiors are concerned, they are the embodiment of premium sportiness. The black leatherette seats with red stitching impart a sense of aggression coupled with sophistication. A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system enables Android Auto and Apple CarPlay to make you feel right at home, while the Bose sound system keeps every journey’s ambience with excellent sound clarity. A big check for me is the sunroof, adding lavishness and elevating my long drives.
Kia has done exceptionally well in safety areas for the Seltos GT Line, with features like front and rear parking sensors, traction control, six airbags, ABS with EBD, etc., all of which give me and my family a calm frame of mind for our trips.
What I like the most is the attention to detail every feature, from sporty red accents, ventilated front seats, and digital instrument cluster, adds to the car’s overall experience. The car is a perfect combination of power, style, and comfort.
There have been innumerable memories with the Kia Seltos GT Line: late-night drives, long weekend road trips, peaceful solo rides. This is much more than a car for me; this is my road companion. If asked for the best SUV in this segment, my answer would, without a second thought, always remain the Kia Seltos GT Line.
