GreenLine launches LNG truck fleet

GreenLine Mobility Solutions Ltd. has collaborated with Bekaert, a leading tire reinforcement technology company, to introduce LNG-powered trucks for Bekaert’s logistics operations. This innovative initiative aims to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of Bekaert’s logistics operations. The LNG-powered trucks, deployed at Bekaert’s Ranjangaon Plant as part of a pilot phase, are expected to cut CO₂ emissions up to 24 tonnes per truck annually. This partnership supports Bekaert’s ambitious goal of becoming carbon net-zero 2050 and achieving 65% sustainable sales.

Anand Mimani, CEO of GreenLine, said, “Our partnership with Bekaert demonstrates the growing commitment of forward-thinking corporates to drive sustainability at scale. At GreenLine, we offer not just green trucks, but an integrated ecosystem — from LNG refuelling to real-time telematics — helping partners meet their net-zero goals.”

Dinesh Mukhedkar, Procurement Operations Lead at Bekaert, highlighted, “Decarbonising logistics is essential for our long-term sustainability goals. This partnership directly supports our commitment to ESG principles.”
