Ferrari 296 Speciale

Ferrari has introduced the 296 Speciale, a high-performance variant of the 296 GTB, available in both coupé and Spider forms. This special edition model boasts significant upgrades, including a 49bhp increase over the standard 296 GTB, resulting in a total output of 819 bhp (not directly mentioned but assuming it retains the electric motor’s contribution as in the GTB). The car sheds 60kg, with the coupé version weighing in at 1,410 kg.

Performance Enhancements

The 296 Speciale accelerates from 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed exceeding 330km/h. The 3.0-litre V6 engine now produces 690 bhp, up from 663 bhp in the standard car. The Speciale features firmer suspension, lowered by 5 mm compared to the regular 296 GTB, and utilizes Ferrari’s ABS Evo braking system.

Aerodynamics and Downforce

The 296 Speciale also sees a 20% increase in downforce, enhancing its aerodynamic capabilities. With its impressive performance upgrades, reduced weight, and improved aerodynamics, the Ferrari 296 Speciale is set to deliver an exhilarating driving experience for enthusiasts.
