The one thing about the front that first caught my eye was the front grille in all its aggression and style, complemented by those DRLs that look downright majestic. The bold, aggressive design demands attention on the road. Every time I find myself on the road, people turn their heads and gaze at the beauty of the particular SUV I am riding. The XUV700’s road presence is second to none.
Most importantly, the fabulous 2.2L mHawk diesel engine, which produces massive power and torque, thus making highway cruising feel like leisure. The car feels so planted even at high speeds with a smooth and aggressive acceleration. The 6-speed automatic gearbox is perfectly mated to the car, giving an effortless experience in the driving arena. The XUV700 handles them all, be it crazy city roads or long highway trips, with admirable poise.
And the interior is an equally impressive space, offering spaciousness, luxury, and lots of technology. The dual HD screen setup combined with a panoramic sunroof, a top-of-the-line Sony 3D sound system, and all of the ADAS features make each ride bliss comfortable and utterly safe. The voice command system, where you just say, “Hello XUV700,” and start controlling the features, brings in another layer of modernity to the car.
One of my cherished memories with the XUV700 is the long road trip to Lonavala. The SUV took every curve and turn of the ghat roads with grace, while the panoramic sunroof made the views all more spectacular. The input felt like a home on wheels-comforting, safe, and reliable.
