In the European market, Honda debuted the WN7 as its maiden e-with-a-fixed-battery motorcycle. This naked style e-bike is the perfect antidote for somebody who finds enjoyment in easy city riding, marking Honda’s foray into the electric “Fun” segment.
Performance Backed by 75 Years of Heritage
Powered by Honda’s 75-plus years of motorcycles heritage, it glides on road with smoothness and silence, giving in performance to bikes of greater capacity. Honda boasts its power outputs as on par with a 600cc petrol engine motorbike while torque is compared to that of a 1000cc petrol engine.
Range and Fast-Charging Capabilities
Charging-wise, WN7 is able to take you approximately 130 km or 83 miles on a full charge. The bike sports a fixed lithium-ion battery with CCS2 fast charging, which takes the charge from 20% to 80% within 30 minutes; this is further complemented by regular charging at home under 3 hours.
Futuristic Design and Smart Connectivity
Looks-wise, WN7 has a slender and futuristic design made to sport the electric bike layout. The e-bike also has a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity via the Honda RoadSync app, offering modern touch to the riders.
A Step Toward Honda’s Carbon-Neutral Future
WN7 is considered by Honda as the first step towards the drive for global electric motorcycles, with a future electric lineup consisting of commuter and city-centric models. In the end, the company pleads for all its motorcycle products to be carbon-neutral by the 2040s, backing the larger plea for carbon neutrality within all its products and operations by 2050.
