Volvo EX30 Pre-Launch Pricing and Deliveries
The new electric SUV from Volvo India, the EX30, comes bearing a pre-launch ex-showroom price of ₹39.99 lakh for those booking it before 19 October 2025. After 20 October, the price would go up to about ₹41 lakh. Deliveries are slated for the first week of November 2025.
India Assembly and Powertrain
EX30, with local assembly conducted at the Volvo plant in Hosakote, Bengaluru, stands as the least expensive luxury EV in India. The car runs a single rear motor with a large 69 kWh battery with a claimed WLTP range of 480 km on a full charge. Acceleration is impressive: from 0-100 km/h in about 5.3 seconds, generating a peak power of 272 hp and torque of 343 Nm. Top speed is electronically limited to 180 km/h.
Exterior Design and Styling
Exterior-wise, the EX30 carries the house style — a closed front grille, slim LED headlights with “Thor’s Hammer” signature, aero-inspired 19-inch wheels, and sharp LED tail-lights. The styling projects a car that straddles sporty and elegant crossover.
Interior Features and Technology
Inside, you are spoilt for choice in terms of premium tech and comfort: a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Google embedded; a 9-speaker, 1040W Harman Kardon audio system; dual-zone climate control; power-adjustable front seats; panoramic sunroof; and safety features such as 7 airbags, 360 cameras, blind-spot monitoring, and ADAS – lane keeping, adaptive cruise, etc.
