Tata Motors Secures Orders for Over 5,000 Buses from State Transport Undertakings

Tata Motors has secured cumulative orders for more than 5,000 buses and bus chassis from several State Transport Undertakings across India. The orders highlight the continued demand for reliable public transport vehicles in the country.The company will supply these buses to multiple state transport organizations. These deployments will strengthen public transport networks in several states.

Orders from Multiple State Transport Corporations

The latest contracts involve supply to several major transport bodies. These include Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation, Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation, North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation and Telangana State Road Transport Corporation.Other organizations include Bihar State Road Transport Corporation, Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation, Kerala State Road Transport Corporation, Haryana Roadways and Chandigarh Transport Undertaking.These orders will help these transport corporations upgrade their fleets and improve passenger mobility.

The orders include several models from the Tata Motors commercial bus portfolio. These vehicles will serve urban, intercity, and long-distance routes.The lineup includes popular models such as Tata Magna, Tata Cityride, Tata Starbus and Tata Starbus Prime.The order also includes bus chassis from the LPO series. These include Tata LPO 1618, Tata LPO 1622 and Tata LPO 1822.These models are designed to deliver efficiency, durability and passenger comfort across different transport applications.
