Ducati Desmo450 MX has officially entered the Indian market. Ducati India launched the new motocross motorcycle on Monday, marking the brand’s debut in the country’s off-road segment.The Ducati Desmo450 MX is priced at ₹17,23,600 (ex-showroom). Bookings for the motorcycle are now open across select dealerships in India. Deliveries are expected to begin by the end of March 2026.Customers can purchase the Ducati Desmo450 MX at Ducati dealerships located in New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Pune.
Powerful Engine with Desmodromic Technology
The Ducati Desmo450 MX draws power from a 449.6cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The motor produces 63.5hp and 53.5Nm of peak torque. It also features a high rev limit of 11,900rpm.A key highlight of the Ducati Desmo450 MX is Ducati’s signature Desmodromic valve distribution system. This advanced technology improves engine performance and ensures precise valve control at high engine speeds. The design minimizes welds to improve structural rigidity while reducing overall weight.Thanks to this construction, the Ducati Desmo450 MX weighs just 104.8kg (wet weight without fuel). The lightweight structure improves handling and agility, which are essential for off-road and motocross riding conditions.
Fully Adjustable Showa Suspension Setup
The Ducati Desmo450 MX features a high-performance suspension setup. It uses fully adjustable Showa USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear.The suspension offers 310mm of travel at the front and 301mm at the rear. This setup allows the Ducati Desmo450 MX to handle rough terrain, jumps, and uneven surfaces with ease.
Brembo Brakes Ensure Strong Stopping Power
