Reason for Discontinuation
The G 310 R has reached the end of its lifecycle, and BMW has decided not to upgrade the model to comply with the upcoming OBD-2B emission norms, leading to its discontinuation.
Position in BMW’s India Lineup
The G 310 R, along with its siblings the G 310 RR and G 310 GS, were BMW’s most affordable motorcycles in India, catering to the entry-level premium segment.

The G 310 R was powered a 313cc, single-cylinder engine that produced 33.5 Bhp and 28 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.
