The BMW M2 CS has officially arrived in India. It becomes only the second CS-badged model from BMW to reach the Indian market after the BMW M4 CS that launched in 2024. Like other CS models, the BMW M2 CS is produced in limited numbers. Only a small batch has been allocated for India, making it a rare performance machine for enthusiasts.
Lightweight Carbon-Fiber Design
BMW has focused heavily on weight reduction for the BMW M2 CS. The car features a carbon-fiber roof and a newly designed carbon-fiber boot lid. BMW has also added carbon-fiber exterior mirror caps and several carbon-fiber elements throughout the cabin and body.These changes help keep the weight at around 1710kg. The lighter construction improves agility and overall driving dynamics.
Powerful 3.0-Litre Twin-Turbo Engine
At the heart of the BMW M2 CS is a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine. The engine produces 530hp and 650Nm of peak torque. This makes the coupe one of the most powerful compact performance cars in its class.
Acceleration and Performance
The BMW M2 CS delivers impressive acceleration. It can sprint from 0 to 100kph in just 3.8 seconds. The car also reaches a top speed of 302kph, highlighting its track-focused engineering.BMW offers the BMW M2 CS only with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Power goes exclusively to the rear wheels, ensuring a classic and engaging driving experience.
Wheels and Tyres
BMW equips the BMW M2 CS with staggered forged alloy wheels. The front gets 19-inch wheels, while the rear features 20-inch units. Both wheels come finished in a distinctive gold colour.The car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, which provide excellent grip and stability at high speeds.
Exterior Colour Options
BMW offers the BMW M2 CS in four paint options. These include Black Sapphire, Portimao Blue, Brooklyn Grey, and Velvet Blue. Each shade highlights the aggressive styling and performance character of the coupe.

Inside the cabin, the BMW M2 CS blends sportiness with premium technology. The car features a new M-spec steering wheel finished in Alcantara, enhancing grip during spirited driving.The interior also includes a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system for a high-quality audio experience. BMW has also added a parking assistant system to improve everyday usability.
