Citroen has launched the Dark Edition for its Basalt, C3 and Aircross variant of its popular hatchback, starting at Rs 8.38 lakh. The Dark Edition boasts an all-black exterior, complemented 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels retained from the standard C3 models.
Inside, the cabin features a sleek Carbon Black finish on the dashboard, steering wheel, seats, center console, and other elements, with gloss black accents on the AC vents and gear lever. The C3 Dark Edition comes with a range of premium features, including leatherette seats, ambient and footwell lighting, illuminated sill plates, a leatherette-wrapped instrument panel, and a seatbelt cushion.
The powertrain options include a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 82hp and 115Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, or a more powerful 1.2-liter turbo-petrol unit delivering 110hp and up to 205Nm, available with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Alongside the Dark Edition’s launch, Citroen has introduced the new Feel variant, which offers standard equipment such as remote keyless entry, power windows, and LED daytime running headlights. All C3 variants have been certified compliant with E20 fuel and feature a larger 45-liter fuel tank.
