Launched Indian electric vehicle startup Greenway Mobility, E-Vi is a new initiative meant to revolutionise India’s electric three-wheeler industry 2025.
Having stated that, E-Vi will start with two advanced electric vehicles, the Chhota Otto and the Chhota Bull, hoping for a market release in the fourth quarter of FY24. Along with this, the company will launch Rydan, a high-speed passenger electric rickshaw, to provide dependable and reasonably priced green mobility options for rural and metropolitan India.
Priced at Rs 2 lakh, the Chhota Otto and Chhota Bull set a new benchmark in the fast-expanding three-wheeler electric vehicle industry. L5-grade components found in the cars provide remarkable performance and lifetime.
By the end of this year, Greenway Mobility intends to have established more than 100 dealerships all throughout India. The automobiles from E-Vi are especially suited for Indian road conditions.
“We are establishing strategic industry collaboration to supplement this entire ecosystem to benefit the end users—addressing concerns like access, nationwide service networks, affordable financing options, swappable batteries and charging networks,” said Siddharth Patel, founder of Greenway Mobility and an alumnus of IIT Bombay and Cornell University.
“Maintaining quality is of utmost importance to us, and we are sourcing components from just the top Indian suppliers,” said Greenway Mobility founder Harsh Raval. Our expanding array of electric cars helps us to shape transportation going forward.
For improved stability and comfort, the Chhota Otto has independent suspensions on all three wheels and also folding seats for load transportation. Built for last-mile delivery in tough terrain, the 400 kg payload capacity Chhota Bull features hydraulic brakes and IoT-enabled fleet management for real-time tracking.
Additionally launching Rydan, a high-speed electric rickshaw with industry-first innovations, hydraulic disc brakes and a multi-speed automated gearbox, Greenway will be perfect for India’s varied transportation demands; this rickshaw boasts a longer range and improved performance.
