The most recent scooter came in the form of electric and that scooter was launched Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India at Auto Expo 2025, the Activa E comes with a handsome price tag of ₹1.17 lakh (ex-showroom). It symbolises the bold Honda EV entry in the fast-growing Indian automobile market and also signifies the automobile giant continuous drive for the eco-friendly and innovative mobility technologies.
The Activa E is like the normal Activa in design but has the additional features of current generation cars. It is powered an electric motor coupled with a lithium-ion battery with up to 120 km range for a single charge. The battery is also quick-charge that can be charged up to 80% in less than an hour for that Fazwire has incorporated the fast-charging system suitable for regular and busy users in urban areas.
In addition to the model, Honda has other interesting features on the Activa E that may include a smart application that may help the rider in monitoring the battery status in real-time history, locate the scooter in case it is stolen or even lock/unlock the scooter remotely. Other components include digital a digital instrument cluster, lights, and multiple operating modes dependent on the road type or the rider’s choice.
Safety is not entirely removed and some of the things that will provide a safe drive are regenerative brakes, anti-lock brakes among others and sturdy construction. To cater for all these markets the Activa E has been developed to suit college going students, working class citizens as well as families.
