Honda has updated its iconic special edition old-school offerings, the CB1300 Super Four SP and Super Bol D’or SP. The bikes have received a new paint scheme for 2024 to refresh the lineup. The bikes will now come draped in Pearl Sunbeam White alongside the existing Pearl Hawkseye Blue.
The new Pearl Sunbeam White comprises a base coat of white with red colour chassis, golden-coloured alloys and fork bottoms, and a shade of red on the front with blue accents. Overall, this paint scheme is quite vibrant and enhances the CB1300 Super Four SP and Super Bol D’or SP’s old-school styling.
The two Honda bikes have the same 1,284cc liquid-cooled in-line four-cylinder engine that makes 111.3bhp at 7,750rpm and 112Nm at 6,250rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox and the setup benefits from a slip-and-assist clutch. Honda will also offer an optional quickshifter.
The hardware used on the bikes is on the premium side. The CB1300 Super Four and CB1300 Super Bol D’or ride on Ohlins telescopic front forks with dual rear shocks. The brakes include a dual disc at the front and a single unit at the rear with dual-channel ABS. These are mounted on 17-inch alloy wheels shoed to 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tyres.
Honda will continue selling the CB1300 Super Four SP and Super Bol D’or SP in Japan only. The price for the CB1300 Super Four SP is set at JPY 19,36,000 (approximately Rs. 10.66 lakh) and the CB1300 Super Four Bol D’or SP retails at JPY 20,46,000 (approximately Rs. 11.26 lakh).
