Hyundai Unveils Second-Generation Nexo SUV at Seoul Mobility Show 2025

Hyundai has introduced its second-generation Nexo SUV, a hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV), at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show. The new Nexo builds on the Initium concept and is set to make its market debut in Korea.

Powertrain and Performance
The Nexo is powered a hydrogen fuel cell stack generating 110 kW, combined with a 150 kW electric motor, resulting in a total output of 190 kW. The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds and can travel an impressive 700 km after a 5-minute refuel.

Interior Features
Inside, the Nexo boasts a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other notable features include:

Safety Features
The Nexo prioritizes safety with:

The Nexo’s design features:

  • A bonnet with two prominent lines
  • A front bumper with D-shaped openings
  • Block-pattern tail lamps
  • A unique three-coat paint process that shifts the body color with light angles
