Isuzu D-Max EV introduced globally with 262 KM range

Isuzu has revealed the D-Max EV, an all-electric version of its popular pickup truck. The vehicle boasts a range of 262km on a single charge, making it suitable for various applications. The D-Max EV will be introduced in Europe, Australia, and select ASEAN markets starting in 2025.

Key Specifications

The D-Max EV features a 66.9 kWh battery pack, powering dual motors that produce 190 bhp and 325 Nm of torque. The vehicle comes with full-time 4WD and a Rough Terrain Mode, making it capable of handling challenging terrain. It has a payload capacity of over 1000kg and a towing capacity of 3500kg. The D-Max EV has a ground clearance of 210mm and a wading depth of 600mm.

Performance

The D-Max EV accelerates from 0-100kmph in 10.1 seconds and has a top speed of over 125kmph. With a kerb weight of 2350kg, the vehicle is designed to handle heavy loads and towing.

Design and Features

The D-Max EV retains the same design and features as the diesel-powered D-Max, including a touchscreen infotainment screen, digital driver’s display, dual-zone climate control, parking sensors, and heated front seats. Currently, the D-Max EV is available only in double-cab form.

Market Launch

The Isuzu D-Max EV is set to make its debut in select markets in 2025, offering a sustainable and capable alternative to traditional diesel-powered pickup trucks.
