KTM dirt bikes run from Rs 4.75 lakh for the 50 SX to Rs 12.96 lakh for the 350 EXC-F. KTM intends to build the required racing ecosystem in India introducing these enduro and Motocross bikes, including a new motorsport training facility in Bangalore and the evolution of a new racing program.
Three of the six new KTM dirt bikes unveiled in India are designed for quite young riders. These include KTM 50 SX, KTM 65 SX, and KTM 85 SX. All three motorcycles run two-stroke engines; the 50cc generates 5.4 horsepower on a bike weighing just 41 kg. The KTM 85 SX weighs 81 kg and generates 16 horsepower in the meantime.
Although KTM also has solutions for people who seek robust, full-sized motocross bikes, the bikes above are targeted at children who are just starting off off-road riding. The KTM 250 SX-F is the first of these; it boasts a strong 249.9cc four-stroke engine generating 26.5Nm at 9,500 rpm and 46.8hp at 13,900 rpm—the 250 SX-F weighs roughly 104 kg.
The KTM 450 SX-F, with a 449.9cc four-stroke single-cylinder, produces 63 hp and 74 Nm at 9,500 rpm. However, performance increases dramatically above the 250 SX-F, and the 450 SX-F weighs just 3 kg more at 107 kg.
At last, there is the KTM 350 EXC-F Six Days Enduro bike. This is basically a dirt bike with a simple taillight and headlight design. The 349.7cc four-stroke engine of this bike generates 45 horsepower at 9500 rpm. Like the other dirt bikes discussed here, the bike weighs 107 kg dry and has a tall seat height—in this case, 963mm.
