Lexus India has officially started the delivery of the most anticipated flagship SUV, the LX 500d, all over India from June 11, 2025. With such a launch, Lexus now steps boldly into the ultra-premium SUV segment, offering luxury and sheer capability.
In the LX 500d, customers can choose from two trims: the Urban one suitable for city life and the Overtrail, giving an aggressive-look with enhanced off-roading skills. The variants are priced between ₹3.00 crore to ₹3.12 crore ex-showroom, marking it as a product clearly intended for that handful of buyers who want performance and comfort at the highest levels.
Powering the SUV is a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel engine; rated at 304 bhp and an enormous 700 Nm of torque, it serenely tackles any highway or terrain. The engine is mated with a 10-speed automatic gearbox and a four-wheel-drive system supported on a rigid ladder-frame chassis.
Inside, the LX 500d marries opulence and technology. The list includes air-bladder seats able to provide maximum comfort, a cabin of luxury grade, and premium infotainment via Lexus Connect.
