Mahindra XUV 3XO teased: what to expect in the new upgrade!

Mahindra XUV 3XO

Mahindra recently announced the launch of the facelifted XUV300 in a rebranded avatar. Slated to make its debut on April 29, the heavily updated subcompact SUV is now named XUV 3XO. However, it’s not just the name but many other significant updates to be seen in the new XUV 3XO.

Here’s what all new we can expect from the upcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO.

Test mules of the facelifted XUV300 have been spied on numerous occasions over the past one year. Even though the XUV 3XO will essentially be a facelift over the current XUV300, the upcoming model is expected to witness plenty of exterior updates over the outgoing SUV, as evident from the recent teaser released on YouTube.

Up front, the bi-LED projector headlamp cluster with C-shaped LED DRLs on each side is all-new. The headlamp setup flanks a revised front grille featuring a gloss black panel with a diamond-studded pattern. As a result, we expect the front bumper to be reprofiled as well. The side profile is likely to remain intact with the same roof rails and flared wheel arches, however, the all-black 16-inch alloy wheels will be new.

The rear too gets a completely different look thanks to C-shaped LED taillamps with a connected LED stripe across the tailgate. The tailgate itself appears to be heavily tweaked with the registration plate now moving to the rear bumper. Mahindra’s twin peak logo in chrome is carried forward from the current model with the ‘XUV 3XO’ lettering underlying it.

Cabin interiors will witness a refreshed look which will feel familiar to its all-electric sibling— XUV 400— which received a facelift earlier this year. This will include a redesigned dashboard layout featuring a larger 10.2-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.2-inch instrument console. Both screens will now run on the more advanced AndrenoX system.
