Mercedes V Class

Mercedes-Benz has launched the 2026 V-Class in India at Rs 1.4 crore (ex-showroom). The company will assemble the luxury MPV locally at its Chakan plant in Pune. Mercedes offers the V-Class only in the 3.4-metre extra-long-wheelbase version, making it the longest Mercedes car currently on sale in India. The extended wheelbase ensures generous cabin space and enhanced rear-seat comfort.

AMG Line Styling and Exterior Options

The India-spec V-Class comes with the AMG Line cosmetic package as standard, which adds sportier design elements. It rides on dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels that may look slightly small for its size, while 19-inch wheels are available in select international markets. Buyers can choose from five exterior colours: Obsidian Black, High-tech Silver, Alpine Grey, Sodalite Blue and Crystal White.

Airmatic Suspension for Better Comfort

Mercedes equips the V-Class with Airmatic air suspension featuring adaptive damping as standard. The system adjusts ride height automatically and improves ride comfort over rough roads. It also enhances stability at higher speeds.

Cabin Features and Infotainment

Euro NCAP has awarded the V-Class a full five-star rating in crash tests.

The petrol variant features a 2-litre turbo engine that makes 231hp and includes mild-hybrid assistance. Both engines come paired with a 9-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox.
