The MG Windsor EV Pro has been launched in India at an introductory price of Rs 17.49 lakh. However, this price is limited to the first 8,000 bookings only. Buyers also have the option to opt for MG’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program, which reduces the price to Rs 12.49 lakh, excluding the battery cost.
Performance and Range
The MG Windsor EV Pro is powered a 52.9kWh LFP battery pack that provides a claimed range of 449km on a single charge. The electric motor produces 136hp and 200Nm of torque. The vehicle comes with a 7.4kWh AC charger that takes about 9.5 hours to fully charge the battery. It also supports 60kW DC fast charging, allowing for a 20-80% charge in just 50 minutes.
Design and Features
The Windsor EV Pro features a unique design with a split headlight setup, connected LED lightbars, retractable flush door handles, and a large window area. The vehicle is available in three new color options: Celadon Blue, Glaze Red, and Aurora Silver. The interior boasts new beige upholstery on the seats, front armrest, and roof and column liners, replacing the current model’s all-black interior color scheme. The Windsor EV Pro also features new 18-inch alloy wheels with a distinctive design.
Advanced Features
The MG Windsor EV Pro comes with several advanced features, including V2V (Vehicle to Vehicle) and V2L (Vehicle to Load) functionality, allowing the battery to charge other electric cars and external devices. The vehicle also features a Level 2 ADAS safety suite and a powered tailgate, enhancing safety and convenience for drivers and passengers.
Boot Space
The boot space of the Windsor EV Pro stands at 579 litres, slightly less than the standard model’s 604 litres. Despite this, the vehicle still offers ample space for luggage and other items, making it a practical choice for daily use.
