The first-ever flex-fuel motorbike from Suzuki is the Gixxer SF 250. Priced at Rs. 2.17 lakh (ex-showroom), this bike is practically 25,000 more expensive than the regular variant.
Nowadays, the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel model can run on ethanol up to 85%. The Japanese manufacturer has modified the fuel pump, fuel filter, and also the moderator injector to make it happen. Other Suzuki motorcycles in the the future are probably going to feature these new improvements.
At 9300 rpm, the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel generates a peak torque of 23 Nm and about 27bhp. The six-speed gearbox is matched with this engine. Whether any modifications have been made to the gearbox is still unknown.
Two colors—Matte Black and Matte Red—are being offered Suzuki for this bike. Bike bookings will start not too far off.
