Ahead of its formal release on November 23, 2024, Royal Enfield has displayed its newest creation, the Goan Classic 350. This bobber-style motorcycle stands out in the brand portfolio with its new appearance and distinctive characteristics.
Though it adds various unique stylistic components (via HT Auto), the Goan Classic 350 keeps the basic underpinnings of the Classic 350. These comprise all-LED lighting, a cut exhaust, a throwback ape-style handlebar, and fresh colour schemes with custom artwork.
According to the journal, it became the first motorbike on the J-Series chassis to include distinctive white-walled tyres coupled with tubeless spoke wheels, therefore improving both appearance and utility.
Though outwardly different, the Goan Classic 350 stays rather similar in terms of proportions. The motorcycle has a length of 2,130 mm, a width of 825 mm (without mirrors), and a height of 1,200 mm, again excluding mirrors. Its 1,400 mm wheelbase is matched with a 43-degree steering lock to increase agility.
The Goan Classic 350 reportedly runs on the familiar 348 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which produces 20.7 horsepower and 27 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed gearbox goes with this strong powerplant. While braking is handled ByBre units with dual-channel ABS, assuring consistent stopping power, the bike boasts telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks for suspension tasks.
