The biggest motorcycle and scooter manufacturer worldwide, Hero MotoCorp, has unveiled its new VIDA V2 series of electric scooters in India.

Three variations of the VIDA V2 are available: V2 Lite costing ₹96,000; V2 Plus, costing ₹1,15,000; and V2 Pro costing ₹1,35,000. These rates apply to Delhi and incorporate present subsidies.
According to the business, the scooter’s distinctive and modern look reflects both style and utility. Its attraction is reinforced two fresh color choices: glossy sports red and Matte Nexus Blue- Grey.
Hero’s innovative powertrain runs central in the VIDA V2. Three variants of replaceable battery packs—3.94 kWh (V2 Pro), 3.44 kWh (V2 Plus), and 2.2 kWh (V2 Lite) are offered. Claims the electric scooter manufacturer, these batteries are IP-67-rated for durability and can be charged at home, reaching 80 per cent capacity in under six hours.
Delivering a peak power of 6 kW and 25 Nm torque, a swingarm-mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) drives the scooter. With a top speed of 90 km/h, the VIDA V2 can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 2.9 seconds.
