
The TVS Jupiter is a scooter launched in September 2013 TVS Motor Company. It has flourished through the years in becoming one of India’s best sellers. In 2018, the TVS Jupiter became the second best-selling scooter in India. Just one year after its launch, TVS Jupiter 125 was crowned the Scooter of the Year award BBC Top Gear India and also the NDTV Car & Bike Awards named the TVS Jupiter the Scooter of the Year.
It was also awarded for Excellence in Branding & Marketing at the 5th CMO Asia Awards World Brand Congress.
In 2021, TVS launched the 125cc variant of the Jupiter. In 2024, TVS launched the second generation Jupiter with a 113cc engine. The scooter offers a sophisticated and mature design with various features owing to customers’ needs. Initially after its launch Jupiter hit a sales figure of 500,000 units ; finally progressed to 5 million units which shed light on its success. This was the only scooter to reach its milestone at a fast rate. By switching to the more efficient ET-Fi technology, the Jupiter became one if the best mileage scooters. Through 11 years of its launch, the scooter not only crushed many milestones but also gained the support of customers, thus uplifting the company’s recognition in the market.
TVS Jupiter 110 is geared a next generation noise-free, all-aluminum, low-friction engine that delivers an incredible mix of power, superior acceleration and top-notch fuel efficiency. It offers a maximum power of 5.88 kW (8 bhp) at 7500 rpm while producing maximum torque of 8 Nm at 5500 rpm, which delivers a solid four stroke ride experience for the users. It guides riders in both ‘Eco Mode’ and ‘Power Mode’. The scooter has the largest leg space and comes with retractable front and under-seat bag hooks along with 17 litres of spacious under seat storage facility. It came with spectacular colours of Titanium Grey, Mercury White, Midnight Black and Volcano Red.
On 7 October 2021, TVS Launched the 125cc Variant of Jupiter. It comprises of a 5.1 liter fuel tank with front and rear drum brakes combined with safe braking system for both wheels. The TVS Jupiter 125 has a claimed mileage of 57.27 kmpl.
In 2024, the Second generation Jupiter was launched in India which now uses 113cc engine. The scooter is an integrated model for enhanced mileage, comfort, convenience, safety, space and power. This newly launched scooter gets an Signature infinity LED bars just below the bright beam LED headlamp along with a streamlined contour. The new TVS Jupiter gears up with the help of an E20-compliant 113.3 cc engine, the engine improves the powertrain efficiency with a lightweight piston design and low inertia crankshaft system. Infotainment tech is tailored with Fully-Digital Coloured Cluster is connected via Bluetooth to the TVS Connect App. Apart from these this model is a standing proof for safety and innovation with its aerodynamic design fitted with multiple safety gears. The disc brake with synchronous braking system ensures ultimate safety in all riding conditions. It comes in the following variants ; TVS Jupiter (Drum) – Meteor Red, titanium Grey Matte and Lunar White.
TVS Jupiter (Drum Alloy) – Starlight Blue Gloss, Titanium Grey Matte, Lunar White Gloss and Meteor Red.
TVS Jupiter (SmartXonnect Drum) – Starlight Blue Gloss, Galactic Copper Matte and Dawn Blue Matte.
