TVS Launches King Kargo HD EV at ₹3.85 Lakh
TVS Motor Company entered the electric cargo three-wheeler scene with the King Kargo HD EV priced at ₹3.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With this product, TVS would like to address the growing demand for efficient and eco-friendly vehicles under the urban and semi-urban logistics umbrella.
Strong Battery and Power Gear Mode
The King Kargo HD EV is powered by an 8.9 kWh lithium-ion battery and can provide, in the real world, a range of up to 156 km per charge. Furthermore, it becomes the first model to introduce Power Gear Mode, which is supposed to give more torque while carrying heavy loads, thus making it useful for last-mile deliveries and city cargo movement.
Focus on Comfort and Practical Design
Comfort and convenience were other areas given due attention. This three-wheeler offers LED lighting, roll-down windows, stylish door-trims, and a spacious cabin so the operators can enjoy a more comfortable driving experience during long hours of work. It also features the best loading height in the segment, water wading ability, and a tiny turning radius that allows it to skim through congested city streets.
Smart Connectivity and Fleet Management
One of the main highlights is the technology integration. King Kargo HD EV is India’s first Bluetooth-enabled cargo three-wheeler with TVS SmartXonnect enabled with 26 connected features like trip details, battery status, and navigation assistance. The TVS Connect Fleet platform provides fleet operators with 31 advanced tools for vehicle monitoring, performance tracking, and receiving real-time alerts to enhance business efficiency and reduce downtime.
Future Expansion with CNG Variant
TVS plans to launch a variant that runs on CNG by late 2025, adding another choice for customers who want flexibility in fuel types.
