
Ultraviolette has launched its latest offering, the Shockwave enduro e-bike, priced at Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom). To celebrate the launch, the company is offering a special introductory price of Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 1000 customers.
Pre-bookings for the Shockwave have commenced, with an initial fee of Rs 999. Deliveries are expected to begin early 2026.
The Shockwave is built on new ‘Light vehicle’ platform, dubbed ‘Funduro’. Inspired rally-raid motorcycles, the e-bike boasts a sleek and aggressive design. Its suspension setup consists of 37mm telescopic front forks and a 180mm monoshock at the rear, ensuring a smooth ride on varied terrain.
The Shockwave features wire-spoke wheels with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tyre, providing optimal traction and control. The e-bike also comes equipped with several electronic features, including:
- Four traction control modes
- Switchable dual-channel ABS
- Six levels of dynamic regeneration
The Shockwave will be available in two colours – Cosmic Black and Frost White.
Powering the e-bike is a 3.5kWh battery, offering an impressive IDC range of 165km. The Shockwave can accelerate from 0 to 60km/h in just 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 120km/h. Its motor generates 14.5bhp with a peak torque of 505Nm, while weighing in at a mere 120kg.
