ZELO Electric has launched the Knight+ Rani Edition electric scooter in India. The company introduced this limited-edition version of the Knight+ in a unique baby pink colour. ZELO will produce only 999 units of this special model across the country.Customers can book the scooter through the brand’s authorised dealer network. The company launched the edition to celebrate International Women’s Day.The ZELO Knight+ Rani Edition price is ₹69,990 (ex-showroom). Interestingly, the limited edition costs the same as the standard Knight+ model.
ZELO Knight+ Rani Edition Design and Limited Production
The biggest highlight of the ZELO Knight+ Rani Edition is its exclusive baby pink colour scheme. ZELO calls this theme “Rani”. The design aims to stand out in the electric scooter segment.Apart from the colour and finish, the scooter remains identical to the standard Knight+ electric scooter. ZELO has restricted production to 999 units nationwide, which makes it a rare edition within the lineup.
ZELO Knight+ Battery, Range and Performance
The ZELO Knight+ Rani Edition electric scooter uses the same platform that the company launched in August 2025.The scooter runs on a 1.8 kWh portable lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. ZELO claims the scooter delivers a range of up to 100 km on a single charge.A 1.5 kW electric motor powers the scooter. It can reach a top speed of 55 km/h.The battery pack is removable, which allows riders to charge it outside the scooter. This feature helps users who do not have a dedicated parking charging point.
Features of ZELO Knight+ Rani Edition
ZELO Electric has equipped the Knight+ Rani Edition with several modern features. The company says some of these technologies are segment-first additions in this category of electric scooters. The scooter comes with hill hold control, which helps prevent the vehicle from rolling backward on slopes. It also offers cruise control, allowing riders to maintain a constant speed during longer rides. Other practical features include follow-me-home headlamps, which keep the lights on for a short time after the scooter is switched off, and a USB charging port for charging mobile devices on the go. Together, these features enhance ride convenience, improve safety, and make everyday commuting more practical.
Inspiration Behind the Rani Edition
According to Mukund Baheti, the word “Rani” represents confidence and individuality in Indian culture.The company says the ZELO Knight+ Rani Edition aims to celebrate self-expression and bold choices. At the same time, the launch also intends to encourage greater participation of women in two-wheeler mobility. However, the scooter remains suitable for all riders.
