Ducati has introduced the 2025 Scrambler Icon Dark edition in India, priced at Rs 9,96,700 (ex-showroom Delhi). This motorcycle is the most affordable Ducati model available in the Indian market.
Design and Features
The Scrambler Icon Dark edition boasts an all-black paint scheme, complemented by black alloy wheels, a gloss black front fender, frame, and engine. Additionally, it features new clutch and alternator covers, belt covers, and exhaust. The motorcycle’s instrumentation includes a 4.3-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity.
Performance and Hardware
Powering the Scrambler Icon Dark edition is an 803cc L-twin motor, producing 73PS at 8,250rpm and 65.2Nm at 7,000rpm. This engine is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. The motorcycle’s chassis comprises a tubular steel trellis frame, along with a 41mm USD fork and rear monoshock with preload adjustability.
Braking and Safety
Braking duties are handled by a 330mm single front disc with a 4-piston caliper and a 245mm rear disc with a single piston caliper. The motorcycle also features cornering ABS and a traction control system.
Ergonomics and Suspension
The Scrambler Icon Dark edition has a seat height of 795mm, which can be lowered to 780mm. It rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, shod with Pirelli MT 60 RS tyres. The motorcycle weighs 176kg (kerb) and has a 14.5-litre fuel tank.
