Skoda Kylaq Sportline Launched in India: Prices, Features and Engine Details

Skoda Kylaq Sportline

Skoda Auto India has introduced the new Kylaq Sportline in the Indian market, expanding the compact SUV’s lineup with a sportier-looking variant. Prices for the Kylaq Sportline range from Rs 11.32 lakh to Rs 12.32 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the transmission option.

The new variant is positioned between the Signature+ and Prestige trims and brings a range of blacked-out exterior and interior elements to give the Kylaq a more distinctive appearance. The launch also comes after our June 2026 report about Skoda working on a sportier Sportline version of the compact SUV.

Kylaq Sportline: Sportier Exterior Design

The Kylaq Sportline follows the same visual treatment seen on the Sportline versions of the Kushaq and Slavia. Several exterior components have been finished in black, giving the compact SUV a more aggressive appearance.

The Sportline gets 17-inch black alloy wheels, black ORVMs, black faux skid plates on both bumpers and a black roof. It also features a roof-mounted spoiler and dedicated Sportline badging on the C-pillar and tailgate.

Another noticeable change is the black Skoda wordmark positioned between the tail-lights. The Sportline is also the most affordable Kylaq variant to feature projector LED headlights and LED fog lamps with a cornering function. Lower variants continue to use LED reflector-based headlights.

Darker Cabin With Sportline-Specific Touches

The sporty theme continues inside the cabin. The Kylaq Sportline gets black leatherette seats with contrasting white stitching, along with Sportline branding embossed on the headrests.
The interior also features aluminium pedals and white ambient lighting, adding to the variant’s sportier character.

Feature highlights include a single-pane sunroof, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a six-speaker audio system, an 8-inch digital driver’s display and a wireless phone charger.

Same 1.0-Litre TSI Engine With Manual and Automatic Options

Mechanically, the Kylaq Sportline remains unchanged from the other variants in the lineup. It is powered by Skoda’s 1.0-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine, which produces 115hp and 178Nm of peak torque.

The engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission, giving buyers the choice between a conventional manual setup and the convenience of an automatic.

More Features Now Available From the Base Variant

Alongside the Sportline launch, Skoda has also upgraded the equipment list of the Kylaq range. The base-spec Classic variant now gets automatic climate control and a rear defogger as standard.

This update makes the entry-level Kylaq better equipped and gives customers access to these convenience features without having to move to a higher trim.
