Honda has expanded its BigWing motorcycle range in India with the launch of the new CB500, a locally manufactured 500cc roadster. Prices for the motorcycle start at Rs 2.75 lakh, ex-showroom Bengaluru.
The new Honda CB500 is powered by an all-new 501cc single-cylinder, air- and oil-cooled engine. The motor develops 28hp and 43.3Nm of peak torque, making it Honda’s largest air-cooled single-cylinder motorcycle currently offered in the Indian market.
The 501cc powerplant is designed to offer a balance between everyday road usability and the performance expected from a mid-capacity roadster. The motorcycle is equipped with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and a slipper clutch.
Three Honda CB500 Variants Available
Honda is offering the CB500 in three variants, with differences primarily centred around the wheel setup and styling.
The entry-level Alloy variant is priced at Rs 2.75 lakh and comes with alloy wheels. The Spoke variant is priced at Rs 2,99,900 and gets cross-spoke tubeless wheels.
At the top of the range is the Spoke Tubeless With Stripes variant, priced at Rs 3,01,900. This version adds exclusive colour and graphics options while retaining the spoke-wheel setup.

Features and Connectivity
The Honda CB500 comes equipped with an analogue-digital instrument console and Honda RoadSync connectivity. The system provides smartphone-connected functionality, adding convenience to the motorcycle’s feature package.
Other key equipment includes HSTC and a slipper clutch, which are available across the three variants.

Honda has opened bookings for the CB500 through its BigWing dealerships in India. With local manufacturing and three variants on offer, the motorcycle expands Honda’s presence in the mid-capacity roadster segment.
