Once well-known for its unique appearance, the Jaguar is undergoing a significant transformation. The British company is entirely embracing electric cars and deviates from traditional design concepts. According to northern Swedish surveillance images, the upcoming Jaguar models will be somewhat different from their predecessors.
After an eight-year break from its last new model, Jaguar is preparing to introduce the Gran Turismo (GT) as an all-electric vehicle. Unlike the two-door prototype shown in the previous year, the production version will be a four-door GT with an incredibly big hood. Designed for a 2027 launch, this car will mark the brand’s farewell to internal combustion engines, therefore signifying a shift toward elite electric luxury.
Jaguar’s next EV will specify unconventional dimensions, a completely fresh front-end design, and an interior with few screens and inventive materials. Built on the Jaguar Electrified Architecture (JEA) platform, it should have roughly 800 km of range.
Under the shift, Jaguar—owned by Tata Group from India—will phase out all current models, including the I-Pace, before launching its next generation of EVs.
