The Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 turned into the centre of luxury automobiles when Kia India introduces the Carnival Hi Limousine, a high-end, roof-mounted variant of its MPV. The Carnival Hi Limousine became popular for the comfort and sophistication on wheels. Alongside with the updated EV6 and the new Syros. Kia’s Hi Limousine package has been offered outside for earlier versions. But this version is based on the most recent generation of the Carnival, which was only presented in India.
Unique Features and Design
The most notable feature is the expanded roof, which not only expands the cabin’s room but also has ambient lighting with a starlight motif. At the exterior high roofline, chrome embellishments, and powered side stairs guarantee equal parts practicality and style. In addition to that not only the opulent inside features a 6-seater arrangement with plenty of legroom, suede-finished surfaces, wood-patterned carpeting, and high-end Nappa leather upholstery but also a huge 25.7-inch Android TV, rear passengers get separate panels for lighting, air conditioning, and seat controls. For the luxury feel foot massagers, electrically adjustable seats, and even heated and chilled cup holders are also availaible.
Safety and Powertrain
In India the Carnival Hi Limousine have a six-speed automated gearbox with the 2.2-liter diesel engine found in the regular Carnival. In terms of Worldwide the MPV have a 3.5-liter petrol engine which produces 294 PS and 355 Nm of torque. The unique safety feature is eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, and Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which include lane-keeping assistance and front collision warning.
Prospects for the Market
The Carnival Hi Limousine has the potential to capture the premium MPV market, even if Kia India has not yet confirmed a debut date. It will compete with high-end cars such as the Toyota Vellfire and the future MG M9 with an expected starting price of more than ₹80 lakh. Its appearance at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 has raised the bar for luxurious mobility.
